Bio

It was one of those days....

It started with an "I quit" text message. It continued with an in person "I'm out too".  It wasn't anything but expected. Inevitable from the start, but still initiated months prior and force-fed hope and desire. It wasn't anything that hadn't been seen time and time before. The name may have been blessed but the band was not. It was time to cut the losses and move on.

Founding member (Drummer), Pete Colvin, flipped open the laptop, sat down, and wrote Hades Hottie and Wedding Bells. He then got behind the kit and laid down the drums for the first recorded efforts of S.U.M.  After completion, the first call was to bring aboard (Guitarist) Frank Brooks to lay down the tracks that would bring the lyrics to life as only Frank could do. Frank quickly wrote the guitar parts for the first two songs and wrote the guitar and lyrics for the bands third song, Black Widow.

It was then time to bring in _____ to give S.U.M. a voice. Before _____ finished the first line of the initial recording, it was apparent the right guy was behind the mic. Everything gelled better than expected. S.U.M. now needed a solid, driving bassist to complete the lineup, so Pete reached out to (Bassist) Paul Gowa to lock down the rhythm section.

Suffer Unto Me has yet to write their story but looks forward to whatever the future holds...
